Josh,

[q3]>>> There is a cafe opposite the Union - the Nosegay Cafe.[/q3]
[q2]>>[/q2]
[q2]>> It's the Nosebag, you moo. Opposite the Three Goats' Ears.[/q2]
[q1]>[/q1]
[q1]> The Two Cows' Heads? Of course strictly speaking the cafe is called[/q1]
[q1]> the Saddlebag, whereas the restaurant upstairs is called the Nosebag.[/q1]

I'd never noticed that.

Craig, if you've still not got into the Saturday Times' Jumbo, you'll
not have noticed that one of last week's answers was "nosegay".

Mark.

I (still) never buy any papers. Dunno which I'd choose - politics being
as it is. Is it worth buying the Saturday Times just for the crossword?
Can I set up an account in Oxford and get it put in my pigeonhole each
Saturday?? Its a thought. Do any newsagents do that Mark?

I usually get the puzzles off the Net. But nowadays I am never up in
good enough time. Are you on Derek's mailing list Mark?
www.crossword.org.uk I have done the competition puzzle (by Smithers)
but not the clue-writing part. Give it a pop.

Craig
