Hm, I just went on the exam timetable website:

I decided it would be best to take c1,c2,s1 in january, and c3,c4,m1 in june? Split it in half really..anyone done this before?

I did a similar thing (but it was c3, m1, s1 in January and c4, fp1, m2 in June, because I did C1 and C2 really early.)

You'll be able to resit C1, C2 and S1 in June, almost definitely.

EDIT: I've just looked at the specification. All units are available to sit in June, and C1, C2, C3, C4, FP1, M1, M2, M3, S1, S2, D1 are available in January.

I'm going to be doing that this year. C1, C2 and M1 in January, and C3, C4 and M2 in June. Might do M2 in January if I manage to work hard enough..

Yep, but I don't think I'l be able to take all units in either Jan or June. So I thought I'd start with the basics in Jan and the hardest in june! :P thanks for any help x

i retook all 3 of my AS Maths modules in Year 13. I retook S1 in january and C1 and C2 in June together with C3, C4 and M1. I would advise doing this as C1 and C2 really do help with C3 and C4 stuff. You shud do much better when doing all the Core modules in june.

Could be nice to get it over with in January so you can focus on A2s, though.

i wouldnt advise doing many exams in january. it really gets in the way of A2s. Doing C1 and C2 in June will be better for you. I dont think you even need to revise much for it as your C3 and C4 work would help you out alot.

How do January exams get in the way of A2s, which are examined in June?

You will be getting alot of work in January for A2. Alot of January exams can get in the way of Coursework etc as you will spend more time on revising for those exams rather than on the A2 Work. I had 6 exams in january and i found it very hard balancing revision with the huge workload in Year 13. If you can manage it, good luck to ya. Im just speaking from experience

Ah, coursework. Never had it, never will. The joys of living overseas.
