Apparently they can't offer you new accommodation until November (unless they were just saying this to me because they thought my request to not be on the bottom floor was a bit petty... which it might be). It's pretty useless as I'll probably be settled in by that point and won't want to start again meeting everyone in a new place. Oh well, I'm sure I can deal with the bottom floor. Unless there's a resident "bottom floor monster" named Terry who lives in the hoover. Is there?
