Was fine up until results day...

Accepted a course change offer on the phone on results day. Next day rang them to say "I dont want to go to uni at all, please withdraw me"

"Thats fine and done for you" so I go onto Track to check it, I cant get logged on "Oh good they've cancelled me" I thought.

Today I get a confirmation letter from UCAS saying I'm going to Salford. Salford have also just emailed me an accomodation offer.

Any UCAS people on here? If so, please in the nicest way possible can you sort it out?

Squidheads ! Ha ha, you sound an angry angry man. It is the busiest time of year for them, it is a bit rich to expect them to have sorted your issue immediately.

Have you tried to contact the university and explain to them? They might advise you on what to do next or get in touch with UCAS.

They told me I didnt have to but looks like it now. Eee hey, want a job done you gota do it yourself havent ya. lol

Some of these letters have been in the post for a few days - have you checked the date? It could be - just possibly - that the letter was in the system before your withdrawal had been agreed. UCAS has its faults like all organisations, but it's a bit harsh to assume it's their fault! You'd have been pretty cross if your AS12 hadn't come through when you were expecting it to...
