i took a gap year last year, but i didn't do a scheme (temped through an agency) and travelled for a bit in CEE. Enjoyed it immensely, but the problem was that i've forgotten most of what i've learned at school, that and lack of interest in economics, made my 1st year at uni very hard indeed.

no the application is not that difficult - it is the same for the other big3/4 that run the scheme, although KPMG has got the toughest tests which you have to sit but that as expected being it from KPMG (i.e. they expect high calibre etc etc)

No tips. Just be yourself. If you are good enough then you will get through no problems. Nothing about the application process is difficult.

I got AAAaa. You need ABB for the program but i would recommend having an AAA prediction as they usually pick thoses with AAA predicted. Anything less than an AAA prediction would be rejected at the final stage i am sure. The application form was easy to fill out but the online tests did get hard at some points. The first interview was fine as long as you are prepared for the competencies (found on their website). The final assessment is the only real hard bit with the group, email and final partner interview. I understand that this application process is the same at graduate level so its quite difficult for a sixth former to do.

Good luck with it
