I don't understand what's so extraordinary.

The chances of this happening are slim, though, and I've never heard of it happening to anyone aroound.
Just don't use a hairdryer:biggrin:

Computers typically use 65 to 250 watts (for laptops its about 15-45), which is nothing compared to a hair-dryer (1400 watts usually) or kettle (400-1200+). Basically, it's a non-issue so don't worry about it.

The hair dryers I've looked at are mainly close to 2000 watts :eek:
