Any one have any ideas how to start the commentary.
Should I introduce my base text fully and explain it or do I need to explain why more then why at first?

yes - introduce your base text first. The examiner needs to know that you understand your base text. Then go on to explain how you derived your characters and what techniques you used etc. good luck :smile:
