Also can anybody tell me roughly how many hours a week it is for a Law student?

I think i'd do alot better studying out of the university than in it.

Btw, i heard that the first year doesn't actually count towards your degree, its just to see if you can cope. Is this true?

I'll be studying Law with Business.
I did one year at UCE (BCU now) and I only had about 10 hours a week of lectures/seminars, that was just Law on its own.

I'm going to be on the 4 year Law LLB which includes a year working in a Law firm. I read that a law student can expect to spend a lot less time in lectures than other undergrads but thier reading list isi HUGE!

Unfortunately, future employers in the legal world pay particular attention to the marks we recieve in the first year...Gotta crack on and get the grades I suppose!

Yeah i suppose. Im glad about the low amount of lectures though, cause i can concentrate on things in my own time.

wel fo sept 08 i alredi got the time table cuz i asked btu its baisicaly 10-4 mon and tue wed we haev off thur 10-4 and fir 11-2 sumit liek that.thats from the top of my head and im goin uce not impressed im transfering after ym first year im gna have the crappiest year ever!!!
