It's not a very good uni,and the degree is as useful as a years work experience ,i lived in the area for a year ,it's in the middle of the largest high rise council estate in the world ,in my degree i had modules which barely related to what i was studying ,completely random modules ,i use to fail essays because when i handed them in the office would lose them and say i never handed them in at all,one lecturer failed me an essay and claimed i never handed it in ,i told my tutor and she told the lecturer i did hand it in then she said 'she found it' and marked me 40% when it was clearly worth more ,I even handed in an essay I had written by an author of chemistry books ,just before i left ,and they failed the essay . Roehampton residents also like to bring pitbulls for walks with no lead but the police are too afraid to do anything about it ,when you order a pizza the delivery people wont even drive up 'holybourne avenue' after it gets dark .

oh dear! I was thinking about going to Roehampton...I'm going to the next open day, I hope it's not as you described it. My other option is Westminster.

What subject are you applying for?

Don't just listen to other peoples opinions about roehampton though, some people have bad experiences whereas loads of other people have fantastic experiences, you have to decide for yourself. I went to the open day last year and really enjoyed it, and it'll either be my firm or insurance (depending on how my resits and interview with another uni go)

Sociology Just got to choose from Plymouth or Roehampton. After dropping out of uni last year i want to make sure i pick the right one. Have you got an offer?

Yup, I've got a CCC offer for history
Good luck with choosing, I'm still waiting for one more offer but I'm dreading having to make the final choice It's all a bit scary.

Either Goldsmiths or QMUL (if I get an offer after the interview), but their offers are quite high (ABB!) so I'll have to see how well I do in my module retakes Roehampton will definitely be either my firm or insurance though.

I like the idea of living in London reason for Roehampton. But i have heard so much bad feedback on the Universty. I suppose you can only make your own mind up.
