I'd assume so. My DoS told me that he had already filled two of the six places available with deferred entry candidates from last year. I'd imagine it all evens out.

I think that's true, especially for subjects with quotas (like medicine and architecture). It's nice to know that I am making someone's life hell at the moment:biggrin: (not really:frown:)
Yup. Oddly I don't remember any of the second-year CompScis from my interview day, so I guess the deferrals took places there.
