Reading Lists

When do we receive reading lists for our courses?
I'd love to get a head start by looking around for some deals on the internet and not leave my book-buying until the last minute.

Does anyone on here know? (Specifically people doing English Language and Linguistics)

As a computer science student i recieved the preparatory reading list long time ago , just after i registered on UCAS. I recently bought 2 of the 6 recommended (actually 7 if you include the dictionary) and i can tell you that it's quite a lot of reading and learning to do. So , i suggest you send an email to the university and ask them. The books differ from section to section so don't freak out just beacause ours are hard :smile:
Actually, right after emailing the uni I looked up my course on the website and under each module it tells you which books you'll need :rolleyes:
