A level advice please help

I received my AS results a couple of weeks ago and i got poor grades.

English Language and Literature:B
Media: D
Spanish: E

I have no idea what to do now I failed media and spanish because I didn't enjoy media it was mostly boring and there was hardly any teachers to help our class with the exams and I failed spanish because i was lazy running out of self -esteem during this period also the spanish teacher is extremely strict and scary and the whole class hates her. I want to carry on with english as i love this subject but i don't know if i should retake the year or retake the modules in media and spanish but my mum thinks it would be too much for me as i would have to study both AS modules along with my A2 modules. What should i do?

It depends what unis/grades you're aiming for i think. Say if you want BBB-BCC overall, then you could just retake a media module and a couple of spanish modules to push the grade up.
If you're aiming high, say AAA(?) then you might want to retake the year unless you think that you'll be really committed and be on top of all your work this year to handle alot of retakes.
