to retake as or to start another one??

well i got a D for as french - pretty expected as i hated lessons and the teacher with a passion and stopped going months ago...but should I try and retake it (even though i hate it) orr should I do classics as level next year instead (something that I'm quite into) and not put down french (its not certificated so i can do that yes?!)

At the same time I will be trying to get a history b up to an a. I'm applying in my gap year and want to go to a good uni!

btw advice for year 11s - don't do subjects because you think unis will like them, do them because you think you will like them...and work hard!! :smile:
