I’m doing religious studies and it’s very interesting this year, the study of philosophy and ethics.

A lot of my friends do classical civilisation, it’s hard too but very specialised on a few topics I’ve heard, much less general than GCSE.

They are both respected essay-based subjects, but with very different subject matter – so see which interests you more.

If you have university options in mind already, then perhaps do a bit of research and see if either one of the subjects would be potentially more desirable then the other.
If not, then just pick the subject that you think you will enjoy the most

Thanks for the help, the problem is I think I would enjoy both subjects. I talked to the teachers of both , and they both sound really interesting!

Well you could consider not doing one of your chosen subjects instead, so that you can do both classics and RS, unless you are 100% positive you want to do English lit, lang and drama.
