I Didnt take "traditional" A levels - can i still get into Nottingham/aston/cass??
    hi there

    hi

i recently finished my AS levels

got ABCD (in english, business studies, graphics, accounting)
will be predicted AAB (business studies, english, graphics)

    achieved at GCSE

    A*A*AAAAABBBC

have done voluntry work, duke of edinburgh and debating.

I really want to study Management at either
Aston, Nottingham, Manchester, City (first choice)

    MY QUESTION IS???

DO YOU THINK IM GOOD ENOUGH
ARE THE SUBJECTS IVE TAKEN OKAY FOR THOSE UNI'S

I KNOW I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ECONOMICS, MATHS AND A SCIENCE, BUT THEN I WOULD HAVE ENDED UP GETTING DDC, OR SOMETHING...lol

I think you'd find it hard to argue that English isn't a traditional subject (don't know where you heard otherwise). Business studies isn't the worst of subjects either.

English is traditional, but graphics and business not as much so. I just think i havent got as good of a chance as someone taking for example, law, english and history...

that is very true, business, english and accounting are all linked to management, but ive already decided to do graphics next year instead of accounting, because i was told that ive performed better in the subject.

Could i still write on my personal statement what ive learnt from AS accounting even though i havent carried it on at A Level

and would AAB (predicted) in (business, english, graphics) sound attractive enough to the unis i want to apply to coupled with my straight A's (almost) at GCSE, and pretty strong personal statement.
