5 ASs, Frees and a Social Life - ADVICE PLEASE

it IS manageable. be prepared to be very stressed towards exams though!
I did four ASs and one A2 in year 12. I enjoyed it a lot, and I don't think my social life suffered particularly.
but unless you're doing the extra one for enjoyment rather than iwht an eye on UCAS, i'd advise you not to.

the latter there.... i want to go to oxford so having the extra AS sets you apart so i ahve heard.

do you think it makes that much difference for uni entry whether I have 4/5 ASs??
Continue with five for a while longer. You should only drop one if you're finding the workload too hard. You'll still have plently of time for socialising in those five frees, and lunch and break. You might well be bored if you had loads of frees. There's only so much fun stuff you can find to do around school after all.

If you don't think you can cope with the work though, that's another matter.
