Default General studies

Today, we got told we have to do General Studies AS level.

We have to go to 2 lessons (2 hours) a week.

Is it worth going? Ive heard people in the past saying they only went to a couple of lesson but still got an A?

Is it worth actually going?

no because even if you get a good grade in it, unis don't accept them and it is highly likely that employers don't accept them as well. my advice is don't go and use those 2 lessons to catch on your other work which will benefit you. bascially general studies is a waste of time.

We only do 1 hour a week, and 1/2 of that is wasted waiting for everybody (including the teacher) to turn up!

In previous years, almost 90% of the cohort got A grades, and by the look of the exams, I'm not surprised.

ahh but, some unis do accept it, and not just the lower rep unis, you just have to look hard enough.
for me it is free UCAS points.
