Gonna try the kaplan practice 2011 paper tomm. and figure out my baseline score
I think this is a pretty good paper. Possibly a little more difficult (so it claims) and a couple of errors but should give you a fair idea.

Found a few of the AR questions impossible, even on further inspection. Let me know how you get on.

Nice average, and especially well done on QR and DA....
Was verbal reasoning really hard in the exam compared to the 600Q / practise tests?

You have to be careful when applying to these universities due to previous year UKCAT cutoffs:
    - Dundee
    - Durham
    - Glasgow
    - Kings
    - Manchester
    - Newcastle

Good average score, though you could hit a snag with your AR result as it could be a couple of SD below the average. You should apply to schools that only take into the final score/average, and don't look at individual sections.

It was a bit trickier I guess. And I had a text really longer than the ones I was used to from the 600 book. I came to realise though that small texts of around 4 sentences can be really tricky.

How did you find AR? Mostly guesswork or just incredibly difficult?

Yeah it was quite a lot of guessing for me but I wasn't very good in the practice tests either.

I want to apply to Scotland. Would you think that these scores are ok for Edinburgh Aberdeen Glasgow and Dundee? Do you think I should exclude any of these unis from my application?

Nice job! I have mine in 12 days <.< how did you find the qr? for me it's the most difficult part, supposedly I'm good at math but somehow qr is the trickiest for me.

1 thing: I subscribed for Medify and so far it's really worth the money... they have a huge database and the layout is pretty similar to the actual UKCAT (I suppose)

Good score but I would avoid Peninsula because your AR score is likely to be below their individual cut-off for that section.

I kinda appreciate all the help I get on this forum, so there you go I had a look at it.

I kinda had saw this one straight away, somehow. Normally with overlappings you look at the colour, shape, no. of sides, type of side, etc. of an overlap. This time I still managed to figure it out.

SET: A, all shapes overlap twice, but the shape that overlaps onto the others does so only partially.

SET: B, all shapes overlap twice too, but the shape that overlaps onto the others does so partially on one shape, and completely goes over another.

    Hope that's clear

Thanks dude. Will take another look

Dundee don't have a cutoff, but give the UKCAT a 20/30% weighting towards your application. They give a figure of the average score they interviewed applicants with, and the average score of candidates that got offers. I'm sure this score is above both of these averages

'Our analysis of the 2010 applicants revealed that we interviewed few applicants with a UKCAT score below 2,300 and the average for those gaining offers was over 2,600.' - So really, I think 2620 is a safe score to apply to Dundee, but obviously it's not guaranteed.

As you say. However, for 2011 entry, they interviewed applicants with above ~650 UKCAT average. The cutoffs vary each year but it is safe to assume that they may rise yearly. Having a UKCAT score of 2620 (655) may be cutting it a bit close. Thus I said "be careful" instead of avoid.

Yeah you're probably right, I guess everywhere is a risk these days. If I get 655 I will definitely be risking it though haha!

When I went to Leeds open day they said their cut off would be 2600, and you've got 2620 so you've met the requirement, just make sure your A level grades are good I suppose Well done! I always fall down on AR!

    Hi, congrats with your score
Yh VR is the hardest section imo
i just wanted to ask, how hard was the QR section, was it simple maths (graphs/tables) or were there hard questions like 3 step ones
cheers + good luck with your application

Does an one else use the QR questions on medify? I get like 90% of the questions right within the 36s time limit everytime and Im wondering if this is how easy the questions are in the actual test. Compared to 600q QR which i find very hard.
