i've posted anon on here a few times about my ongoing problems with my boyfriend. and he finally broke up with me last night.

i feel so numb; i can't believe this has happened. we were an amazing couple, we were so good for eachother. but we were long distance and although everything was perfect when we were together, neither of us could cope with being apart. we'd become distant with eachother over the past month or so and it was tearing me apart inside.

a part of me is relieved because this relationship was so unhealthy. i lived for the times when i could see him and was very down alot of the time when we weren't together. he was my everything for about 16 months. he still is. i love him so much and i just want him back. i just want to be back in his arms again. but i know that it can't work.

I know it hurts like hell now and you wonder how you will ever live without him, but it does get better, perhaps it was for the best.

Time will heal your wounds. Distract yourself with other things and try not to think about him too much. I know it's hard, but with the help of your friends it will get better.

But for a couple of days just let it all out. It's better that way than keeping it in because then you will explode.

Unlucky. That first paragraph sounds like me and my ex. Everything was ace and that, especially when together then we started to argue more and she got more distant when we weren't together and that towards the end. Then she ended up doing the whole "Let's go on a break" thing after she met up with her ex nearly a year on to get clothes back, then next thing I knew she was back with him.

Hurt like ****, but ah well. Life moves on, it's a rubbish cliché but things get better. Depending how much you were into him and that, it'll hurt like hell for a few months and probs won't get over it completely for a while, but just get out and about and keep with mates and try and have fun and you'll be able to take it in your stride a lot easier.

Nah, I just thought "**** off" and cut her out my life instead. Difficult, but ah well. We're sort of on alright-ish terms now anyway, after not talking for about 5 months, although it's still rare that I speak to her.
