If it's been about 6 weeks since you last had sex the chances are you're not pregnant as you'd probably be noticing more significant side effects than heavier discharge, having said that a pregnancy test might be a good idea for your peace of mind.
I sometimes get period pains between periods but my nurse told me these were ovulation pains, as I usually get them around half way between cycles. Heavier discharge is usually often linked to hormonal changes so you may be just undergoing some hormonal fluctuations.
If you are sore/itchy down there and the discharge is of a worrying nature e.g. different texture, pungent then you may just have thrush but you might want to go and get an STI test anyway if that is the case as that can also be a symptom for other stuff. Hope that helps.
Oh and in terms of the worrying, it's usually very heavy considerable anxiety or stress over a decent period of time that would stop a period, not small bursts of anxiety, so if that's what you've been experiencing it may be that.
