I’m afraid you’re wrong. This is what I got from the admissions staff in an email.
'The A Level entry requirements for our Medicine course are AAA excluding General Studies and Critical Thinking. In previous years, applicants must have held a minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C. However, GCSE grades are no longer considered as part of the application process.'
