Re: Good photography Unversities?
It really depends on what kind of course you're looking at; as someone said LCF only does fashion photography, but then there's the other colleges that do a plain photography course (Camberwell and LCC). I got into Bournemouth Arts Institute and quite liked the prospect of their course but I heard it's quite competitive to get in. Some of the UCCA colleges are supposed to be quite good (Farnham I think? I know Maidstone has a joints degree) but it's really up to you what kind of place you're attracted to (I was put off by the whole nature of a small uni in a small place, but again that's totally personal). I finally set my mind on Brighton; I know I haven't started yet but I'd recommend you'd look into it. The course is 50-50 digital/analogical theory/practise and this is what really won me over. You should try and focus on these differences between courses/unis to find the place that's best for you.
Hope this was helpful, let me know if you need anything else, I'd love to help, I once was a Photography applicant
