In July I started running 3-5 miles a day, 5 days a week. Initially there was no noticable weight loss visually. It took approx 2 months before somebody commented on if id lost weight. I was a "chunky" 13 stone, 2 pounds and now im a lean 11 stone, 2 pounds so im happy.

I think that a reason people give up trying to lose weight is because thet see no change in about a week and then lose heart.
