where else could i apply? i applied at: boots,argos,gamestation,vodafone,BHS

Er.. any other shops in your area? Maybe try a call-centre, or a temping agency?

Yeah as said above, all your local shops, particularly the bit retailers.

Register with an agency like Tate or others who offer temp work.

Lots of big places like HmV and Debenhams are taking Christmas staff on at the mo and have online applications (like they all should!).
