    NUS. I had a UCAS Card and I never ever used it because so few people take it. It's not widely known as the NUS.

    I'd go for the NUS, it will be more worthwhile.

    Pretty much. I had an NUS Associate Card when I was in 6th form and I would use loads everytime i went shopping.

    I'm confused too, what is the NUS extra card with respect to this. if you have this, do you not need an NUS card?

    is the ucard (from sheffield) an NUS card?

    I'd go for neither. They're not particularly useful.

    'Savings' generally are there just so you'll buy things you otherwise wouldn't even think of buying.

    I didn't bother with either of them. You don't get your money back in my experience unless you happen to shop a LOT in one of the places. You can always borrow a friends....
