Default A little question on A levels...

I had a problem with this Further Maths thingy which I have described in another thread, however in this one, I'd like to address a slightly different question.

This is an IMAGINARY SITUATION (well not totally imaginary because the situation is the same, only it doesn't concern me, it concerns some other people so for simplicity's sake I have used "I" throughout)

Take it that because I haven't done Mathematics with Edexcel and as a result they won't certify my 6 legitimate modules done for the Further Mathematics, although I do have a valid A level with another board for Mathematics (CIE), right?

So by that time, I would have 6 module results for FP1, FP2, FP3, M3, M4 and S1 which are all valid for Further Maths but it won't get certified, so i.e. they won't give a certificate in Further Maths but I will have these modules, will the unis still consider this as an A level or will they not because it doesn't say so on a piece of paper?
