Why don't you ring the people who actually have an idea about this sort of stuff?
It depends how busy the course is, whether you meet the requirements e.t.c. Your lead department will be able to advise you much better.

My hunch is that, as you are not currently registered as a student of the University, you will have to re-apply if you want to do business. But see what your department say - there is no harm in finding out.
