why not?

I'm guessing that he's probably going to say something related to University prestige or something like that. Research the course, think about whether you'll enjoy it or not......and go from there.....we can't tell you whether to go for it or not!

The Leeds met website tells you what you do during those courses.
Computing is much more generalised, and the job market is much more opening for a Computing degree, whereas Computer Forensics is very specialised and the market is not very busy for people with this course as employers would prefer to teach you everything you need to know.

The campus where these are taught is fantastic. Very green and new and minutes from the centre.

The Computer Forensics department apparently get guest speakers from the West Yorkshire hi-tech crime unit in and they get to look at the justice side of things too.

Essentially the first year of both degrees are the same. The open days (which you should deffo go to) weren't specific enough for me so I emailed Maurice Calvert (leader of Comp Forensics at LM) and we met and I was able to find out more info, give him an email on [email protected] if you want to hear it straight from them.

Hi I've done quite a lot of research into computing degrees in Leeds at both universities, and I choose the University of Leeds for computing as I was told that they had a better reputation there than the met and also I've spoken to a few people who have transfered to the University of Leeds from the met because they didn't feel like they were learning anything. I would say to you is research both the courses in question and try to get to one of the open days.
