She worked for the SOE (Special Operations Executive) during the war and she saved the lives of countless refugees and downed Allied airmen.
No words can describe her bravery and her contribution to the war. -

Re: MUN Condolences ThreadNot so much of a condolence, more of an encouragement, to the police of the UK. The Czech Rep encourages the police of London and other cities to keep up the tremendous work they're doing, in spite of a lack of numbers, tight regulation laws and no rubber bullets.

Re: MUN Condolences ThreadSouth Africa sends it's condolences to the family of the rape victim in Delhi, and the Indian nation as a whole. This is an issue which also plagues our nation too, and we understand the difficulty in trying to address and tackle sexual crimes against women.

Re: MUN Condolences ThreadIndia will honour Jyotti Singh Pandey's memory by reforming the legal system in India to be more punitive towards sexual abuse of women. The perpertrators of this attack will be tried and face the death penalty in what we believe as natural justice. We know this will never change what happened, nor help the family of the deceased, but we must show that we will not tolerate inequality towards women in our legal system.
