Clearing for prestigous subjects - an interesting case.

Just thought I'd post this. One of my friends recently go rejected absolutely everywhere for veterinary science, he had fairly good grades AABC ( or something like that)

And anyway on results day, he got 3 As and a B - naturally he was fairly pleased. Anyway my school rang up some top unis (Royal Vet, Nottingham, Newcastle, Glasgow) and in the end he was offered a place at one of these unis ( i won't mention which)

The only persuasive factor was that he was an international student. But still to be offered a place through clearing is quite impressive for such a prestigous course and university.

nothing to write home about though

meh, i know a friend who got a place at birmingham for biomed the normal clearing way - it happens.

Yes there is a seperate (bigger) clearing list for International Students.
