Are these any good?

My school were looking for volunteers to teach some smaller kids guitar (and possibly some bad behaved ones) so i volunteered as it was only 20 mins a week, but now i am quite scared. Also they asked for people to work in the library at lunch and break times for 6 quid an hour, and i put my name forward also, but i was having the same scared thoughts as i am quite quiet and things.
Basically, would these activities be benificial for my UCAS form? Any other small things you can do in school to improve it?

Don't do stuff to enhance your CV/Personal Statement. Do it because you want to, or it matters to you - and then yes, it will improve your application.
