Default US causes tsunami. 150,000 reported dead and rising.

Has anyone else heard that middle eastern media services are reporting that the US caused the Tsunami by nuclear testing?

hehe, apparently Israel was responsible for 9/11 and the Tsunami was Allah's revenge for all of the heretic behaviour over the holiday season. do we need to pay attention, and is it possible that US foreign policy is irrelevant in that region?

Well Moncal, here's the scoop. ..
Was the tsunami caused by a bomb?
author: curious
It seems very convenient that the epicenter of the earthquake was in war torn Aceh. Could a bomb or series of bombs on the faultline have caused this huge earthquake/tsunami?

I heard the theory about allah's revenge too. Something about homosexuality.

I heard stories about us knowing it would happen and then, due to CIA intervention, we sat there and did nothing. It was all part of a big plan to suppress some sort of islamic movement.

These conspiracy theories are funny because they always make US intelligence out to be so much more clever than it actually is. Some of these people actually think we can predict earthquakes on the other side of the world.

I guess it's a whole lot more creative than blaming "the jews" like they usually do.

I'd be bloody worried if any human had the capability to cause a richter 9 earthquake.
Do hear that some guy who was caught up in the tsunami has been rescued alive cluthing to a tree...drifting 200miles off the coast

The sad thing is that they will believe it as a large amount of the middle eastern population dont undersatnd about plate tetonics and eathquakes so will lap it up.

Its pretty shameless really

Did anyone see the picture on the front of the Times last week where a mosque was the only building left standing in one town? I thought some fundamentalists would jump on that one.

No, but I was seriously expecting someone to blame the US for it sooner or later.

What good a mosque be to Big G if there's no one alive to worship in it? Presumably the cow which collided with a relief aircraft was sent as part of a hindu conspiracy.
I read somewhere that seismologists in Hawaii realised it meant something big, but couldn't get in touch with anyone to tell. Imagine the scene: "I see. You say that a wall of water thirty feet high is going to collide with my country in about two hours time. Is this before or after the plague of frogs?" Thailand discounted warnings because they'd had false alarms before, and Indian officials in the Andaman Islands 'phoned a minister who'd left office a few months ago and only got an answering machine.
