Accreditation ... lost.

Have there been any uni's that have lost accreditation? Which Uni's? :confused:

and why?

Wolves lost theirs earlier this year. It was something to do with leadership on the course and the students had been complaining about something. Wolves have sorted out this problem and are now re-accredited.

LJMU lost their accreditation years ago but got it back fairly quickly. I think it was something to do with leadership on the course as well.

Its quite hard to find out exactly why the universities loose their accreditation because the RPSGB does not always tell people. The staff at the uni are usually the best people to ask... though i am not sure if they'd like it much, hehe.

Yeah, the RPSGB go to every uni every so many years to see how they are doing. They go to some lectures and stuff and talk to the students. Like the inspections you had at school and college.
