Default Classics?

i'm starting to think about what kind of degree i'd like to do at uni. i quite like the idea of doing classics, as i've always enjoyed studying latin, and have always neeb interested in the classical world.
my only problem is, i have no idea what kind of career awaits me at the end of the course.
anyone who's done or doing a degree in classics, or simply just latin; what are the types of careers you're aiming for/ gone into?

Thanx in advance.

You know... if you really like it that much, you could always teach it afterwards!

I know a lot of classicists, and they are mainly lawyers or teachers. For some reason law is very popular with them.

Study what you're passionate about... worry about finding a job later. If it makes you happy to study Classics, then you should go for it ^_^

I don't have a clue yet what I'll do with archaeology and ancient history... but I'll worry about that later. I am very ambitious so I'm certain I'll find some kind of awesome job. Become the director of a museum, start a publishing company, be a journalist in the middle east...
