Default Question about frozen food saftey

OK probably a stupid question but I’m going to ask anyway…

How long would you say it was safe to leave frozen foods at room temperature on the way back from the supermarket before re-freezing them?

By frozen foods I’m referring to student foods, i.e. fish fingers, pizza, etc.

It takes me around 30-45 minutes to get back from the supermarket, the time I get home the food is no longer icy, and is getting soft around the edges. Is this still safe to re-freeze? What are the odds of getting food poisoning from this?

Should be fine, but if your worried, buy one of those frozen food bags that will keep the food colder for longer =]
