moving for sixth form

i'm in year 11 atm and i'm going to have to move schools for the sixth form, because i've decided against the IB. but i'm worried about fitting in to sixth form at a new school, i'm not the most talkative or confident of people, and i can be quite shy, but i want to make friends. i'm worried that everyone else will already have their friends and won't want an outsider coming in. i may even have to go to an all boys school for sixth form [i'm a girl btw] and that will be even scarier as i find it even harder to talk to boys. any tips or advice or help? or am i fussing over nothing..? has anyone else moved schools and been worried about it? LUCY :s-smilie:

you won't be the only new one hopefully anyways. try and concentrate on your work more instead of worrying about becoming so popular:p: there will be people you will become friends with unless the 6th form is like entering the lions cage or whatever they say nowadays:p:

an all boys school surely you cn't do that :confused:
