No. Their prospectus calls them Brunel University - West London.

To be honest Google could have solved this.

Brunel isn't a rubbish university at all! It does some really fantastic courses, especially like International Relations etc.

Well, neither Oxford nor Cambridge are part of the UoL, and they're not rubbish; therefore I doubt that "not being part of the UoL" is a reason for Brunel being rubbish (if indeed it is - it's produced a couple of MPs and has quite a few departments doing nationally and internationally respected research).

One word of advice, brunel is situated in a not very nice area. I live in uxbridge, but brunel is in a really rough bad area, nearly as bad as east london ! The uni however is nice, but the area isnt :s-smilie:

I went to school in + lived in Hillingdon for abit...
never seemed to think that Uxbridge was as bad as your making it sound...

Using even the simplest of maths adding anything to "not rubbish" can't result in "rubbish".

1 + any positive integer is never going to result in a number below one.
