arrrh payment!!

I thought this would be the easiest part of the UCAS form, obviously not!

When i try to submit the card details it says:

The transaction has not been authorised due to a technical failure.

3DS No VERes from DS

Has anyone else had this? Or is it my computer?

Arrh its gonna drive me mad! :confused:

There is a reports of 'intermittent technical problem with 3DSecure' from our payment company.

So this is probably not you.

I just kept trying different cards, eventually my debit one worked.

Good to hear - this may have been a card that did not require the banks 3DSecure security.

Arrh well ive messed it up now because when i click pay, it says i have tried to use debit/credit card too many times, so i shall have to call UCAS tomorrow.

ah sorry do you work for UCAS? im really confused now!

Are you suggesting i leave it and try again as it is a system issue?

Hi,

There is a ongoing payment issue - but now that you have made too many attempts (not your fault) then you will need to contact UCAS.

I am now at home - so I cannot reset this for you - sorry.

Thats okay, thanks for that info. So when i call up i just explain that i was impatient and clicked and tried to enter my card details too many times and they will understand what im on about!?

Next time i will learn to be patient.

If it helps it was a Natwest Cash Debit Card (Solo) ^^.

People can try these first see if they work, of course assuming they have one, it was probably the fact it is SOLO.
