I am an International Student and I was supposed to be a fresher this year. However, for some reason, i ended up in an university in Hong Kong.

I am planning to re-apply UCAS this year and hoping to get into LSE.

My subjects choice for my A-level arent very favourable for me and the subjects I did were Math, Business and ICT and AS Econ. Although i got As for them but I know it is not enough.

If I get good grades from my current university, do you think I might stand a chance getting into LSE ? I want to apply for A&F course in LSE and I think it is quite competitive. Should I still apply?

My friend told me to write emails to the professors in LSE and that might help, is that true?

Please help.. i am so desperate now..

I thought you're not allowed to apply to LSE if you're already in a university? I may be wrong though.

You're allowed to apply through UCAS, but a transfer might be more difficult. I don't see why you shouldn't contact the admissions tutors.

I'd imagine that you are. I'm applying to Cambridge whilst at Manchester, and there is a policy 'against' it, but I was told explicitly that as long as I'm supported by Manchester even the most fastidious colleges would have to consider my application seriously.

Do you mean if I want to re-apply UCAS to LSE, I have to get my support from my current school? How can I get the support? If I don't, does that mean I am not gonna be able to re-apply UCAS?

Contact the relevant academic department you want to transfer to. I've seen this happen, as recently as last year.
