The Petitions Amendment has passed, which means people may now begin to post petitions in the MHoC forum. I wouldn't expect to see much of a change at the moment, but when adverts go up for it, we'll hopefully begin to see some.
Ham and Cheese and posted a petition tonight. Please have a read and share your thoughts on the petition. It will go to vote in 4 days and if it passes, the government will be expected to deliver a statement to the House within a week outlining their response to the petition.
I'm looking for nominations for the HoC Awards! Please get your nominations into me!
I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas, got loads of awesome presents and weigh at least 10 pounds more than you did this time last week!
Voting is now open for the 2011 HoC Awards. Cast your votes in categories from Member of the Year to Biggest Drinker. All will be revealed on New Years Day, including the winner of the coveted Speaker's award for awesomeness!
I haven't done a HoC update in 15 days, which is an indication of how quiet things have been of late! We need bills, motions and statements! Have a think guys and start throwing about ideas in your sub-forums. There's something new tonight, but I think we need to see much more to sustain this place.
Tonight, we have a referendum proposal. Those of you who are unaware of the referendum process within the MHoC may wish to consult the Constitution and Guidance Document.
