    Evening MPs,

Welcome to a new session of the Model House of Commons! This, the 15th session promises to be a busy one, so hopefully there will be plenty for new and old members to get stuck into.

For those who are new to the Model House of Commons, hello and welcome! I'm Nick, the Speaker of the House of Commons, which means I'm responsible for posting the bills, motions, votes and the administrative day to day running of the forum. If you have any questions about how this place works, you're more than welcome to ask me and I'll be happy to help. Hopefully we'll see you contributing to debates soon!

This evening, there is a motion, a petition and a bill up for discussion. In addition, there is also a vote for the HoC Member of the Term for the previous session and discussion underway to establish a HoC newspaper. There is also a motion on my Speakership.

Everyone on TSR is welcome to debate any of the bills and motions in the MHoC, and as MPs, you're able to vote on them as well.

If you haven't read our newbie guide, it contains nice a selection of FAQ's and our Constitution and Guidance Document dictate how this place runs.

    Have a good evening,

    - Nick
