    Evening Parliamentarians,

We've got plenty of glorious things! :tea:

Tonight I present to you the VOTING REVIEW. I understand that several members wanted to see this out earlier and I apologise for their having to wait. To make up for it I have endeavoured to produce the greatest voting review in history... Ok not quite that good. But I have numbered the seats from 1-50 so from now on the voting percentage of the seat not the sitting MP will be measured. Slackers beware! I will be contacted Party Leaders/Chairs to explain the new system which I think will be of great benefit to this House.

    Evening Parliamentarians,

With regards to a comment I made in the MotM thread, I sincerely apologise to anyone who was offended for that was not my intention. When you get it wrong you must hold your hands up to it. I desperately want to see a positive change in the tone and style of business in this House. I think, slowly but surely, we're already seeing that. However in my zeal to combat victimisation and even bullying - I don't want to victimise or bully. I would like to see MotM continue as an opportunity to celebrate contribution great or small, and not a weapon to spite political or personal foes. As Speaker I will speak my mind when it comes to the betterment of the House, and I do call things as I see them however it is always with the best of intentions and never to hurt.

I hope everyone had a lovely Valentine's Day yesterday.

Also the last two update poems, in case anyone managed not to notice, were written by individuals who have sat in Parliament. Unfortunately I've pretty much exhausted my knowledge of parliamentary poesy. At two. Sad I know. I will now be accepting submissions. There are 5 Speaker-points up for grabs. If it turns out the well of British parliamentary poetry is not as deep as I'd hoped I shall have to move on to general poetry written by non-parliamentary types. *sigh*

    Model House of Commons Update
    Evening Parliamentarians,

Everyone enjoying their Thursday? There's something exceedingly bland about Thursday. The word itself crawls over the tongue and out of the mouth only to hang limp and lifeless in the air. Monday, Tuesday, Hump Day, FRIDAY!, and Abęl Makkonen Tesfaye all have their own distinct personalities. But Thursday? Thursday is the Rich Tea biscuit of week days. :holmes:

A few bits and pieces to deal with tonight:

    Evening Parliamentarians,

I have returned! My thanks to toronto for keeping things over ticking whilst I was indisposed.

As a note to people who submit items to me by private message or by tagging me into threads - if I don't confirm submission after 24 hours do tag/message me again - I may have overlooked the notification when on the TSR app for example. I don't mind being pestered at all.
