Personal Statement Format

I'm a bit worried about my personal statement. The format is fine on UCAS, under 'view all details'. I've left blank lines for paragraphs.

But when I copy and paste it into Word, it shows up differently. It looks like:

'bla bla bla bla bla
bla
bla bla bla bla bla bla'

There's some full lines, then some words come up on a line by themselves - on some lines there's just one word.
