Anoter M1 question
A pole-vaulter uses a uniform pole AB of length 4m and mass 4.5kg. She holds the pole horizontallly by placing one hand at one end A of the pole and the other at the point C where AC=70cm. Find the vertical forces exerted by her hands on the pole at A and C.
How do you do this?
Will this kind of question come up in M1? I'm doing Edexcel by the way. I've never done this kind of question before!
