Worried about English Lang + Lit

English isn't my strongest subject, I got an A at GCSE and it is my weakest subject at AS, I'll certainly be dropping it at the end of the year, but I'm really worried.

My teacher may be having a number of days off throughout the year with health problems, but I just don't seem to find it as easy as my other subjects. I should be looking at AAAA/AAAB in my other subjects, and I'm worried that English is going to drag my applications down.

Do I need to worry, are uni's going to judge me really badly if I mess up English a bit (B/C)?

What can I do to make sure I do well?

How many A Levels are you doing? 5? If so, you could drop English and focus on your other subjects. I don't think universities will mind if you don't do amazingly in one AS.
