Politics Essay Structure Help

Just been set an essay to write the other day but seeing as its my first essay in the subject im really not sure how to structure the essay.

The first question worth 5 marks is: Distinguish between direct and indirect democracy. I take it that id be aiming to write about 1/2 a page for that buy how would i structure it? 1 paragraph talking about direct democracy, one about indirect then a conclusion linking the two?

Second is about identifying key features which i guess is quite self explanatory. 10 Marks

The third is about what criticisms can be made of xxx. I've been told i need to make about 5 main points then should i just give examples of why its a criticism and what could be done to make it better? 20 Marks.

Im not looking for answers to the question but am i correct in my assumptions of how to write it or is there a better structure to use?
