Mid-session Liberty House Offer

Hey guys, im currently at KCL doin Elec engineering and I've been offered Liberty house through the mid-session waiting list. They've given me a deadline of Wednesday 15th which seems really short considering they only emailed me today so im just looking for some quick info.
What is the rent cost cos im having trouble finding actual prices?
Anyone who lives there atm or has been there, whats your opinion on it?
Any other info and insights on the place would be greatly appreciated
Thanks ppl

Hey.

I have a mate who's currently staying at Liberty House and, as good as it is, it's vastly overpriced. It costs around £9000 for 40 weeks, so that's around £225 per week! An insane amount.

It is a lot better than the other halls in terms of quality- top class common room, which has pool table, drinks and snack machine, two 42" Plasma TVs, nice en-suite, kitchen appliances fitted in room, 19" TV in room, on site basic gym etc. but nowhere near as good in terms of value. The location's pretty good. About 35 minute walk to Strand Campus or a 5 minute walk to the nearest tube stations- Angel- and then a short walk to Strand. Not quite sure on the distance to and from other campuses, sorry.

From the few times I've been there, the people seem a little introverted. No-one, for example, was in the common room (or hub, as they call it) socialising whereas if it was in GDS or SSA or KCH, everyone would be in there.

Give them a call and ask how much you'd have to be paying and whether you'd get a room with a view etc.

But, in a nut-shell, it's a very nice room with good amenities nearby, but it doesn't seem very social and it's vastly overpriced. It's up to you from there, really.
