Guys, for people on reserve list, you do stand a good chance of getting a place. I was on the reserve for children's 2 years ago, and got a call at the start of Sept offering me a place, so keep hopeful and good luck.

Thanks!! Do you know how many get put on reserve? Also my letter just says nursing doesn't state my 1st preference so does that mean you could be offered any branch? xx

Reserve list- gutted about having to wait even longer! Have sent off an email to see where I've placed on the list, so hopefully that will give me an idea! It says we have to accept our offer by the 14th June, does anybody know if they will offer places on the reserve list after that date or does it all happen in August?

Hi, Im the same as you We wont find out until the end of august/start of september. Once we get our results we have to travel to Queens to give them our results and if anyone who got an offer doesnt meet the criteria, they will then call up reserves, starting from the highest interview score and if they met the grades, and give them the offer. Chances are there but this year they are slimmer as they have cut numbers on the course due to lack of funds. Also, A lot of offers have been given to maturer student and a lot of them already have their grades so they just have to pass the health check really!:/ Im wondering whether its really worth the wait or not! :/

I applied to childrens nursing. I already have my results. I have just finished my 2nd year in a business course here in Dublin, and am halfway through a pre nursing part time course. It's a pity it's such a long wait again, and I have been offered a chance to study abroad for the first semester of next year so was holding out to hear from queens. Hoping to hear back in the email and then consider my options!
