I don't know how they could give places based on results when a lot of the results are not even in yet!!

The reason that ppl with lower scores than yourselves are getting offers of reserve first is because they have applied to different branches of nursing. Within each of the branches there is a different reserve list of applicants, some people may have applied for all branches with four preferences but some will have only applied for mental health for example

That must have been a lovely surprise!! Can I ask did you get a letter or a phone call to let you know? Also was mental health your first choice? The reason I'm asking is coz mh was my first choice, I only scored 37 in my interview but if you've been offered a place with 39 then I might still have a chance. After reading about people with 45 on reserve I thought I'd no chance lol xx

I think it's right that each branch uses its own reserve list after all why should someone who wants to be a children's nurse get offered mental health when they aren't interested in mental health. So well done csands951.

No Catherine I live in Belfast. I'm 27 married with kids. I'm really glad you got a place with your score as I thought all of those in the 40's would be offered places first so it does give me a bit more hope! Just wish I knew how many were sitting on 39,38 & 37 coz for all I know there could be 10 people sitting on each of them scores. What will be, will be if it doesn't work out this year I'll have to try harder next year xx
