    It's normal. However, I went to a uni in London where he put up a slide stating there was a 39 % failure rate in a particular module, totally contrary to what they said on the open day! That statistic plus the first lecture in logic (which I usually like) put me off the computer science course. I transferred 2 weeks after

    This might be argued, but with a more subjective subject such as Psychology, you don't necessarily have to know it all, whereas in a more objective subject like Maths you do actually have to know it.
